Union Pacific Steps UP for Kids!

Great News!  KidsFirst was recently selected as the recipient of a community grant from Union Pacific.  The grant was awarded to KidsFirst because our mission aligns with UP's commitment to building and supporting the communities in which they operate transport services.  UP has a dedicated interest in improving the lives of families in our region.  They currently have 2,000 employees in the Roseville Service Unit alone.

"Union Pacific has been in the business of building America since the 1860s.  Today we are doing more then ever before to connect with our communities and support them in the right way.  We are confident our collaboration with KidsFirst will be an investment that will impact our community in a meaningful way," says Aaron Hunt, UP's Director of Corporate Relations and Media
.

UP has given millions of dollars in philanthropic grants over the last ten years.  KidsFirst is proud to help Union Pacific keep children and families safe; we thank them for their support.

Thank You To Roseville Rotary Club!

Rotarians At Work DayWe are so lucky to have such wonderful community partnerships with local organizations like the Rotary Club of Roseville!  Because we are relocating our headquarters to our Main St. location (read below) we needed assistance converting the space into offices, storage, and client interaction rooms.

For their "Rotarians at Work Day" on Saturday, May 1st, the Roseville Club brought 25 volunteers who installed new flooring, painted, built shelves, and restored and cleaned our warehouse.  They also purchased and provided most of the materials.  We couldn't be more grateful for their thoughtfulness and hard work and we appreciate all they do to help put KidsFirst!  To find out more about the Rotary Club of Roseville, visit:  www.rotaryrsvl.org  To view photos from the day, visit the KidsFirst Facebook photo album.

Local Children Host Concert for KidsFirst!

N California Childrens ChorusThe Northern California Children's Chorus held a special benefit concert on May 16th in Roseville for KidsFirst!  Led by Conductor Judy Britts and Accompanists Bev Houston and Kami Davis, the choir sang "I am a Child" among other beautiful songs.  It was a special treat that they selected KidsFirst to receive proceeds from the concert.  We appreciate their support and partnership and encourage you to visit the Northern California Children's Chours website to find out more information.
